Jared Hammond - Head Chef

Jared, Executive Chef at Buck’s Deli & Market, brings Southern roots, Nashville training, and Charleston culinary expertise to Daniel Island. With experience at The Ordinary, Lenoir, and Brasserie la Banque, he crafts a diverse menu highlighting fresh, local, organic ingredients. Passionate about turning ordinary food extraordinary, Jared celebrates Lowcountry flavors with creativity and care.

Matthew Civitello - General Manager

Matt started at The Daily, by Butcher & Bee when he relocated to Charleston from Rochester, NY. Recognized for his dedication and skill, he was tapped to help them open a second location in Atlanta. Prior to joining Buck's, he was the General Manager at Caviar & Bananas Gourmet Market & Cafe downtown. He is a certified espresso technician and jack of all trades. Matt is a true entrepreneur at heart who plans to open his own establishment in Charleston someday...and we have no doubt he will!
